India: 4th “Blood Donation Drive” by Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Shimoga, Karnataka a success
The event was organised by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, Majlis Khuddamul-Ahmadiyya and it junior organization Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyys; and was supported by Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association, Majlis Ansarullah.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Shimoga, Karnataka, India, hosted its 4th successful “Blood Donation Drive” at District Institute Of Education & Training Auditorium, Shimoga yesterday, Sunday, September 25th.
The drive, hosted to mark “World Peace Day”, was held in partnership with District Health Department, McGann Hospital Blood Bank Shimoga.
Over 53 Pints of Blood were collected and more than 100 people were given free Diabetes Screening and Blood Pressure Test.
The event was participated by a delegatory team from NSD Department and District Health Office (DHO) along with the chief Guest Dr. Dhananjay Sirji, Medical Director, Sarji Hospital, Shimoga; Mr Somachar, C.B.I. Officer; Mr Shankar of NSD Dept; Dr. Patil of NSD Dept; Mr Mustafa Athar (DHO Dept), Regional Vice President and Ahmadiyya youth leader Mir Azam Zikriya; and the President of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Shimoga Syed B. M. Ahmed and other community members.
The event was organised by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, Majlis Khuddamul-Ahmadiyya and it junior organization Majlis Atfalul Ahmadiyys; and was supported by Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association, Majlis Ansarullah.
The event was advertised on a Large LED Screen at the prime location of the city and a vehicle was roamed with announcement in each and every street with a brief introduction of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at.
Banners highlighted the community slogan, “Love for your motherland is part of your faith” and “Love For All, Hatred For None.”
"These slogans are not just slogans but are our daily routine to follow," said the Chief Guest Dr Dhananjaya Sarji, He also appreciated the community's social works.
Dr Ravindranath Kothi spoked about how to maintain our good health and appreciated the community's slogan, “Nations cannot be reformed without the reformation of youth” and stressed everyone to follow the same.
The event concluded with a short speech by President Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Mir Siraj-Ul-Haq.
This event was covered by local news Television channel and a regional T.V. news channel as well in response to a press release circulated to all the local & regional media outlets.
