Nigeria: International NGO Humanity First Feeds Prison Inmates
Deputy Comptroller of Badagry Prison, Mr Famuwagun Oye thanked the NGO for making the inmates happy “we thank you for making them happy and we look forward to more time again in Nigeria”.

A non-governmental Organization (NGO), Humanity First International Canada on behalf of its Nigerian counterpart Humanity First International Nigeria feed prison inmates in Badagry Prison, Lagos.
The NGO fed the inmates before, during and after Eid-El-Kabir festival.
The National Ishaat Publications and Media Relations Secretary, Mr Qasim Akinreti represented the organization.
Akinreti said the inmates were happy for seeing the presence of the NGO impact in their lives, “indeed it was a great relief for the Badagry prison inmates as we fed hundreds of them”.
He added that “the inmates were grateful with the NGO gesture for spending time with them aside from the feeding program.
Akinreti then implored government at all levels to look inward on how to better the life of prison inmates across the Nation,”life of inmates doesn’t end in prison, we implore our governments to better the facilities of the prisons nationwide”.
Deputy Comptroller of Badagry Prison, Mr Famuwagun Oye thanked the NGO for making the inmates happy “we thank you for making them happy and we look forward to more time again in Nigeria”.
Also at the feeding programme include Honourary Missionary of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Nigeria Badagry Jama’at and Chairman prisons welfare Council of Muslim Organizations Badagry branch Mr S. O. Bello and the PRO.
