In a rude awakening of spiking intolerance, my Ahmadiyya Muslim Community perseveres in waging the true spiritual jihad (striving) of Prophet Muhammad and his Messiah Ahmad, peace be upon them — the jihad of peace-loving service and life.

This holiday season, we warmly invite you to make another life-giving impact at Baitul Aman “House of Peace” Mosque, 410 Main St., Meriden.

Join our humanitarian Muslims For Life Blood Drive, in partnership with American Red Cross, on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 8:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m in a sanctuary of our God. You can help save three precious lives by merely shedding one pint of your replenishable blood. According to true Islam and its sister faiths, you’ll be rewarded with saving the whole of humanity.

It’s now more vital than ever to reunite in service of our people, and here’s an efficient opportunity to win back sacred lives instead of losing them to violence.

Allah wisely teaches, “Repel evil with that which is best. And lo, between whom and thyself was enmity will become as a warm friend” (Holy Quran 41:35). With prayers and togetherness, let’s enact this healing guidance to overcome the mounting injustice and divide.

A heartfelt happy holidays and our regards of peace and blessings to you and your families.
