India: Qadian's Noor Hospital celebrating 100 years of service to humanity


Ahmadi Doctors specialized in various medical fields have dedicated their life to render their service for Noor Hospital. The hospital is also well equipped to meet the patients needs.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is serving humanity in various fields 'with the spirit of dedication to achieve the pleasure of God Almighty' 

Qadian: The Ahmadiyya Community is hosting a Special Event and Hospital History Exhibition in Qadian on 16th October 2017 in celebration of the centenary year of Noor Hospital.

2017 marks one hundred years since the establishment of Noor Hospital in Qadian and a number of Free Medical and Blood Donation Camps are planned as a part of the centenary Celebrations, the hospital management announced at a press conference held at the Chandigarh Press Club.

In 1917, The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community India established Noor Hospital in Qadian to meet the healthcare needs of its local residents. Over the 100 years, Noor Hospital has evolved to meet the changing needs of the people.

Noor Hospital traces its history back to the blessed period of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the founder of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community who was born in Qadian in 1835. At a time when there was no hospital in Qadian, he used to provide free medical assistance with great sympathy for the people of Qadian and outskirts. Hazrat Ahmad used to say that "To provide Medical assistance to the sick is a work of great reward. A true believer should not be lazy or careless in these works."

Noor Hospital was the first allopathic hospital opened by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community which was established in Qadian. Since then, the community has established hospitals in various parts of the world especially in the third world and African countries to serve the poor and the needy.

The Hospital has also established Dialysis center to facilitate its patients as a part of its centenary celebration.

Noor Hospital is well established and famous in its locality. Ahmadi Doctors specialized in various medical fields have dedicated their life to render their service for Noor Hospital. The hospital is also well equipped to meet the patients needs.

A wing of Noor Hospital also provides homeopathic way of treatment for free which is found effective. The community has also established hundreds of homeopathic dispensaries throughout India in various cities and villages that provide free treatment.

In Qadian Dr. Syed Daood Ahmad, Dr. Atiya Tul Quddus (France) and Mrs. Nishat served the homeopathic dispensary for many years.

  1. The moto of Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is, Love for All and Hatred for None, with this in mind they serve the Humanity in every aspect of life. Their Humanity First Charity goes out anywhere on the Globe where there is feminine, shortage of water, food or where disaster has struck be it natural or man made, their Volunteers are there to provide help in the shape of food, water and or medical aid.
    Noor Hospital in Qadian and Fazal e Umer Hospital in Rabwah are the prime examples of serving Humanity.
    I wish the staff of Noor Hospital at every level a very happy 100 year anniversary, may this goes on forever, Ameen.
