Jammu, India: Ahmadiyya Muslim Community delegation meets Governor


Governor urged the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to continue their sustained endeavours in spreading the message of peace and harmony to all individuals and communities in J&K.

A delegation of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community led by Sh. Gohar Hafeez Fani met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.

The delegation apprised Governor about the role being played by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to promote peace and harmony all over the world and invited him for the 5th Peace Symposium, one of the flagship events of the Community around the world, which will be held at Jammu on 18th February to deliberate on “Justice in an Unjust World”.

The delegation presented several books to Governor which included: “Revelation Rationality-Knowledge and Truth” written by Mirza Tahir Ahmad; “World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace” by Mirza Masroor Ahmad; “The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam” by Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad; and “Life of Muhammad” by Mirza Bashir-u-din Mahmood.

Governor urged the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community to continue their sustained endeavours in spreading the message of peace and harmony to all individuals and communities in J&K.
