India: Ahmadi Muslim Women in Kerala distribute fruit bags at Government Lady Goschen Hospital


Manjeshwar Lajna delegates initially met Hospital’s Administrative Head. Lajna President presented a memento to her on behalf of Lajna Ima’illah Manjeshwar.

Lajna Ima'illah, the women’s auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Manjeshwar (Kerala) chapter,  organized a Khidmat-e Khalq (serving mankind) event in Government Lady Goschen Hospital at Mangalore, an Arabian Sea port city in the Indian state of Karnataka, on the 15th of April 2018.

Headed by the Lajna Imaillah local Sadr, Dr.Waseema Salam, 9 members of Lajna Ima'Illah, 3 member from their auxiliary organization for young girls, Nasirat-ul Ahmadiyya visited the Government Lady Goschen Hospital.

Manjeshwar Lajna delegates initially met Hospital’s Administrative Head. Lajna President presented a memento to her on behalf of Lajna Ima’illah Manjeshwar.

Later, Lajna team visited the hospital wards and distributed more than 280 Fruit Gift Kits to around 250 female patients and 30 hospital staff members.

The Kits contained fresh fruits, dry fruits, biscuits, and well wisher greeting cards for the patients.

The Govt. Lady Goschen Hospital authority thanked and appreciated Ahmadiyya Muslim Community’s humanitarian service. Patients and their relatives also appreciated and thanked for this service.

On behalf of Lajna Imaillah Manjeshwar, Lajna Sadr thanked Hospital Administration for their  support and cooperation.
