The second annual Run for Windsor will be held this Saturday along the city’s scenic waterfront trail. Hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Windsor in association with the city and Windsor Regional Hospital, proceeds from the family friendly 5K run will support the building of a future urgent care centre.

The run kicks off at 8am from Riverfront Plaza.

A post-run festival courtesy of uPmedia will be held from 10am until 2pm, and will feature face painting, balloon creations, zumba, and a singing competition, sponsored by Dark Horse Productions. As well, visitors can shop local with vendors and businesses.
