Sri Lanka: Ahmadiyya Jama'at's Qur’an Sinhala Translation Gifts to Ministers Continue
Minister was very much delighted to get the gift of Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation, as that was the day, he assumed his duty. Sinhala Translation of the book World Crisis and the Pathway To Peace –also presented to the Minister.

A three member delegation from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Sri Lanka (AMJSL) comprising Mr. A. Abdul Aziz, Press Secretary and National Director Faith Outreach – AMJSL, Moulavi A.B. Musthaq Ahmad – Chief Missionary (AMJSL), and Mr. I. Shakeel Ahmad (Photographer) visited to Ministry of Telecommunication, Digital Infrastructure and Foreign Employment in Colombo recently (09/05/2018).
Ministry Officials welcomed the delegation and arranged to meet Hon. Harin Fernando, Minister of Telecommunication, Digital Infrastructure and Foreign Employment.
Prior to the presentation of the Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation to the Minister, Jama’at delegation briefed to the Minister about this and the Sinhala Translation of the book World Crisis and the Pathway To Peace – A compilation of addresses in various Parliaments by His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, May Allah Strengthen his hands. Minister was delighted to accept this Holy Book.
The delegation also visited to the Ministry of Mahaweli Development and the Ministry Officials welcomed them and arranged to meet Hon. Weerakumara Dissanayake, State Minister of Mahaweli Development.

The Jama’at delegation also had the opportunity to meet the Head of the Climate Division of the Department of Meteorology in Colombo Wajira Lokuhetti, in this program.
He was interested in religion and asked to brief him about the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at. He was told, the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (a.s.) claimed to be the Promised Reformer of this age as foretold in four major religions of the world, namely Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam. After his demise, the system of Khilafath established in this Community as of system of Caliph established after the demise of Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
He asked the difference between Ahmadis and the mainstream Muslims, the delegation explained in detail and said the only difference is, mainstream Muslims do not accept the reformer of this age. On this, the Officer told that he is learnt that no Prophet can come after Prophet of Islam Muhammad (PBUH). Ahmadiyya delegation explained further details on this key issue, and said, Prophet of Islam (PBUH) is the last law-bearing Prophet. As the name of Islam being damaged because of the extremism, the Officer appreciated the noble task by the Ahmadiyya Community to put forward the real image of Islam – the Religion of Peace.
The delegation pointed out about the unique feature of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and said that this is the only Community in Islam which has Spiritual Leadership established by God and termed as ““ONE COMMUNITY – ONE LEADER’.
Introducing the Sinhala Translation of the book World Crisis and the Pathway To Peace – A compilation of addresses in various Parliaments by His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, May Allah Strengthen his hands, it was toldabout the tireless efforts being made by the Khalifa and the Ahmadiyya worldwide leader, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, by spreading the true teachings of Islam through various means, particularly addressing lawmakers at Capitol Hill, EU Parliament, UK Parliament, Ireland Parliament, New Zealand Parliament, Dutch Parliament, Canada Parliament and so on so forth.
Holy Qur’an Sinhala Translation as well as the Sinhala Translation of the book World Crisis and the Pathway To Peace were presented to Wajira Lokuhetti – Head of the Climate Division of the Department of Meteorology.
The relevant Officer took the Message of Ahmadiyyath to a non-ahmadi officer and had discussions with him – the result of which, this non-ahmadi immediately contacted Ahmadiyya Center in Colombo, to know about Ahmadiyyath – True Islam.
