Re: UCP denounces racist letter sent to Edmonton mosque after party logo used.
Not only is this bigoted incident un-Canadian, it is un-Christian.
The wonderful thing about our nation is the opportunity to voice our opinions and engage in healthy dialogue. Communities such as the Ahmadiyya Muslim community tirelessly organize interfaith-dialogues promoting an environment of learning and understanding throughout the nation annually.
Although these incidents hurt our Canadian pride, we should work harder to build bridges of understanding.
As a young Canadian Muslim training to be an Imam, my faith encourages me to fight bigotry with knowledge. I am a Muslim, I am Canadian and I am proud.
