Malaysia: Justice for Mr. Rafi Ullah (Late), a Refugee, murdered by police in prison.

7By Akram Khalid:

Mr. Rafi Ullah is a 63 years old refugee from Pakistan, who migrated to Malaysia due to serious and severe persecution in Pakistan with his family and went through all the processes of UNHCR and ultimately UNHCR declared him and his family as a refugee.

The incident which led to his arrest was merely a moral issue in which they just want to realize to keep your 8 to 10 pets (Cats) with you rather sending to litter at their doorstep, causing bad smell and nuisance. He was beaten up by the locals Malaysian Neighbor, left with severe injuries

Then Local Police arrived and arrested him along with his wife then left him untreated and was sent to prison. Ultimately, Mr. Rafi Ullah died by bearing prolonged detention, non compliance of SOPs for a sick patient, improper investigation set an example of worst injustice and inhumane treatment.

This murder should be alarming sign for the Malaysian Government, UNHCR, Human Rights and other related institutes to protect the cause of humanity and moral values, But Malasian Govt did not take any action until now?

We are requesting for the Malaysian authorities to provide justice to his family by conducting an inquiry against the concerned police  & jail officials. We are asking UNHCR to file a case in international Court against Malaysian Police.
