HUNDREDS of Ahmadi Muslims (also known as #MuslimsForLoyalty), took part in ANZAC Day ‘Dawn Service’ all over the country to reflect upon the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women and those who continue to serve the nation. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is known as peaceful, law abiding, nonviolent and loving community. Founded in 1889, the community spans more than 200 countries with membership exceeding tens of millions.
ANZAC Day has become a national event for the community where members are encouraged to take part in dawn service on ANZAC day. This year members paid tribute to ANZAC Dawn Services in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Tasmania, Perth and Darwin. The president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia, Mr. I. H. Kauser said:
“ANZAC is one of those significant days that bring our nation together to reflect upon the great sacrifices our servicemen and women made to protect us and our country. It is a day of great importance and a day when we as a nation should reiterate our pledge of loyalty and service to the county in war and peace. It is a day that gives us a message that we as a nation must unite and honour those who sacrifice their lives for us all.”The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the leading Islamic organisation to categorically reject terrorism in any form. Similarly, the Ahmadiyya Community is the only Islamic organization to endorse a separation of mosque and state. The community teaches members to become loyal citizens of Australia. Imam Kauser said:
“Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia always pledge their loyalties to their homeland; Australia and we are always ready to sacrifice our life, our wealth, our time and our honour for the sake of our country.”
Its members are among the most law-abiding, educated, and engaged Muslims in the world. Imam Kauser said:
“I encourage all Australian Muslims to join in the commemorations of the event and reflect on the sacrifices and services of our men and women who work day in and day out to protect us and to keep us safe.”Recently the community has collected close to $85,000 for red cross and took out the top four positions in Clean Up Australia Day nationwide.
