GUWAHATI: Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at hosted a peace Symposium in Guwahati, the largest city of Assam state in Northeastern India, The Sentinel has reported.

The event was organized on the theme, “World Peace - The Critical Need of the Time”, with the community's abiding motto of “Love for all Hatred for None’ at a hotel in the city on Sunday.

“Islam means peace and no genuine follower of Islam ever can be violent. But it’s seen that a section of people have created nuisance in the name of region across the globe. Allah will never forgive those,” one of the organizer was quoted to have stated.

The audience, according to The Sentinel, comprised of religious leaders, social activists, academicians, bureaucrats and a majority of young professionals and students.
