India: Eid-ul-Adha celebrated in Qadian with great enthusiasm


Maulana Kreemudin Shahid lauded the role of sacrifice and asked that sacrifice of goats was not aim of scarification but sacrifice of one's soul was the main aim of the Eid.

Qadian: Eid-ul-Adha was celebrated with heavy enthusiasm and traditional passion at the International headquarters of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community at Qadian town in Gurdaspur today.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Community organized a special Eid prayer in Masjid Aqsa where Jamia Principal, Maulana Kreemudin Shahid, led the prayer in which thousands of Muslims including women took part.

Maulana Kreemudin Shahid lauded the role of sacrifice and asked that sacrifice of goats was not aim of scarification but sacrifice of one's soul was the main aim of the Eid.

Maulana Kreemudin Shahid called upon the Muslims to maintain their brotherhood, peace, unity and integrity of the country.

Cutting across the political barriers the representatives of various political parties including Rural Development and  Panchayat minister Tript  Rajinder Singh Bajwa, local MLA Fatehjang Singh Bajwa, former Education Minister Sewa Singh Sekhwa, Jarnail Singh Mahal president Municiap Council, SGPC member Gurinderpal Singh Gora and Mohammad Inam Gauri were also present on the occasion and congratulated their muslim brothers.
