Ahmadiyya Muslim Community members laid a wreath at the Burnham War Memorial on Sunday.
Atiq Ahmad Bhatti, President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Slough & South Bucks said: “This is the fifth year that our community has been given this great honour of laying a wreath at the Remembrance Sunday Ceremony in Burnham Village on behalf of those who fought in the World War to keep us safe, giving us hope, freedom and peace.
"Over 20 members from our Community are here today to not only pay our respects but to stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of the U.K. is mourning and remembering those who fought for our country.
"The Royal British Legion of Burnham are an amazing organisation that have extended a great hand of friendship to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and over the past three weeks we have raised over £5,500 for the annual poppy appeal. It’s been an amazing week.”
