Uganda: Ahmadiyya Muslims Mission holds annual conference

Missionary Inayatullah said the conference would focus on Islamic teachings, sanitation, commerce and modern agricultural practices. Inayatullah further said the discussion would be presented by experts in those fields.

Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission will today begin their annual conference at the association’s headquarters in Wandegeya, a Kampala suburb.

The chief executive and the missionary in-charge of the association in Uganda, Zahid Inayatullah, said the three-day fellowship will attract over 3,000 delegates from within and outside Uganda.

Missionary Inayatullah said the conference would focus on Islamic teachings, sanitation, commerce and modern agricultural practices. Inayatullah further said the discussion would be presented by experts in those fields.


The Ahmadiyya Muslim Movement is a worldwide community founded in 1889 by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam to spread Islam. The movement has over 200 million followers in 195 countries worldwide.
