Indianapolis - USA: Muslims for Loyalty conference planned

The event will feature a keynote address by Naseem Mahdi, national vice president and missionary in charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, as well as a panel discussion with local government and law enforcement.

An Indianapolis Muslim group is reaching out to show its loyalty to America.

The Indianapolis chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA is hosting a Muslims for Loyalty conference May 14, said Saima Sheikh, event representative. The event is meant to address concerns of homegrown terrorism after the killing of Osama bin Laden.

The event will feature a keynote address by Naseem Mahdi, national vice president and missionary in charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, as well as a panel discussion with local government and law enforcement.

The event will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Indiana Interchurch Center, 1100 W. 42nd St.
