The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, Ireland will hold its sixth Annual Interfaith Peace Conference this Sunday from 5pm to 7pm in the Clayton Hotel.
The topic of this year’s conference is “Purpose of Religion” and speakers from Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, will address the topic. The Mayor of Galway Hildegarde Naughton will also speak at the event.
“The main purpose in organising our Annual Interfaith Peace Conferences is to promote peace and mutual harmony amongst people from all religions and of no religion,” said Ahmadiyya Muslim spokesperson Imran Ahmed.
“People from all different backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities etc, are invited to share common values and to develop understanding in order to form basis of tolerance and respect for each other in the society where we all live together irrespective of one’s beliefs.”
All are welcome to attend the conference but must attend before 4.30pm for registration.
