Complete opposite of Middle Eastern violence

The spiritual leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Guatemala preaches the opposite of the violence seen in the Middle East countries. He explains that instigating a 'holy war' is wrong [because] Islam promotes peace.

Muslims believe in Allah, the one God, and the Qur’an is the sacred book of the Muslims.

The establishment of mosques in Lima and then in Arequipa illustrates the faith.

He says that Islam is present in 200 countries with 200 million [Ahmadi Muslim] members.

"Love for all; hatred for none" is the motto for the members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Guatemala, who have an interest to win over the Peruvians to this peaceful cause. Abdul Sattar Khan, spiritual leader (Imam) of this Muslim group is located in Arequipa.

During his visit to El Pueblo, the Imam said his first visit to Peru allowed him to evaluate the groundwork for later missions in Lima and Arequipa."God willing in a few months we will have a strong positive presence in this country," he said.

He explained that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is currently meeting with officials from the Ministries of Justice and Interior to understand the Peruvian rules and regulations because Islam teaches to have the utmost respect for the laws of a country in which one lives.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Guatemala hopes to preach the word of God through the Holy Quran (holy book of Islam), but also to provide humanitarian assistance to the needy population with educational, health and any other kind of support required by the Peruvians settled in areas of extreme poverty.

Abdul Sattar said that Islam teaches belief in One God, that there is no original sin, that all babies are born innocent and that God is the Most Forgiving.

"We believe that Jesus was a loved, prophet and messenger of God, that he was of Jerusalem and that his mother Mary’s example is of the utmost purity," he said.

Ahmadi Muslims consider the Holy Qur’an as the sacred book of Islam and believe that its message is similar to the Bible as a holy text, although there are no concepts in the Holy Qur’an relating to the trinity. The Holy Qur’an is believed to be the Word of God, with no contradictions, ‘perfect’, and with ‘no doubt’," he relates [quoting phrases from the second chapter of the Holy Qur’an].

"Allah is God, The Messenger of this God, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings of God be upon him), loved Jesus and believed Jesus’ mother, Mary, to be a holy and pious woman," he said.

On the meaning of “Jihad”, Sattar Khan said some groups like the Taliban misinterpret it as the "holy war". "Jihad means to make an internal effort for good, not war. Islam literally means peace, submission to the will of God, and obedience. Muslims are God’s servants to humanity, "he said.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is present in 200 countries and has more than 200 million followers led by Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the supreme leader of the International Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

FACT:
The first architectural form in the shape of a mosque in Peru has been built in Tacna. In Lima there are other centers of Islam. While the initial version of Islam that came to Peru was strongly influenced by the cult of Wahhabism (modern Saudi origin and widely accepted in Egypt) and its contemporary variants.  There are also other earlier versions of Islam prevalent in many Islamic countries that had arrived here before the arrival of Saudi Wahhabism.
