India: Ahmadiyya Jamaat condemns act of cyber-disrespect for Sikh leader


Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat condemned this act. In a press statement Mohammad Nasim Khan spokesman of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat said they respect all the religions and believe that all spiritual leaders  are true and they respect all of them.

QADIAN (GURDASPUR): Tension prevailed in the area after a person posing himself as Tahir Ahmed insulted Sikh gurus in a Facebook post. The person claimed that he allegedly belonged to Ahmadiyya Jamaat.

He pasted two photographs in his fake Facebook account. On right side he showed Guru Nanak Dev with Sikh Gurus and crossed their face with red pen. On the right hand side he put photograph of Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat stating that Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims should accept him as their savior or they will go to hell.

On the other hand Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat condemned this act. In a press statement Mohammad Nasim Khan spokesman of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat said they respect all the religions and believe that all spiritual leaders  are true and they respect all of them.

Ex-Cabinet Minister Sewa Singh Sekhwan visited Ahmadiyya headquarter and condemned such an act. He said Ahmadiyya Jamaat respects of all religions. He demanded Punjab Government to take strict action who are behind on this act.

Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa MLA Fathegarh Churian also visited Ahmadiyya Headquarter and he also condemned who insulted Sikh Gurus. He said some external forces are behind of this act and added no Muslim of India can commit such a crime.

Meanwhile some Sikh groups including Damdami Taksal sat on indefinite Dharna near Police station. They are demanding to take strict action who are guilty.

Heavy security has been deployed in Qadian. Sikhs are very angry and tension is prevailing in the area.
