Ghana: Ahmadiyya Muslim youth holds rally

The Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya (Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organisation (AMYO) in the Greater Accra Region has held its 23rd regional rally in Tema.

More than 500 members of the organisation, including the regional president, Mr Yussif A. S. Yeboah, attended the event.

Ther rally was on the theme: “Islam in a contemporary world” and was chaired by the Saidr (National President of AMYO), Mr Abbass Bin Saeed Wilson.

The participants were from the six circuits within the region, namely: Tema, Nima, Abossey Okai, Achimota, Darkuman and Kasoa.

Need to pray

The national Vice-President of the association, Mr Abdul Nur Wahab, advised the members to take prayers, especially congregational prayers, seriously.

He said it was through prayers and good deeds that they would draw close to Allah, and added that Allah would allow faithful worshippers to be successful and never be disgraced.

Prizes and certificates were awarded to participants who excelled in various activities organised at the rally.
