USA: Wake Forest students plan day of Remembrance and Service, Blood drive
For the third consecutive year, the Muslim Students Association,Wake Forest University Red Cross Club and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, will host the Muslims for Life Blood Drive.

In honor of the events of 9/11, students at Wake Forest University have planned a Day of Remembrance and Service. Sponsored by the Pro Humanitate Institute, the Day of Remembrance and Service will bring together several student organizations through service activities to commemorate those lost.
Students will gather on the evening of Wednesday, Sept. 10 to place nearly 3,000 white flags around the perimeter of the grassy area on Manchester Plaza in honor of the lives lost on 9/11.
On Thursday, Sept. 11, students can observe the 13th anniversary of the attacks by donating canned food, volunteering at the Campus Kitchen at Wake Forest, gardening and registering to vote.
For the third consecutive year, the Muslim Students Association,Wake Forest University Red Cross Club and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, will host the Muslims for Life Blood Drive from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in honor of 9/11 victims.
