The new Ameer and Missionary-in-Charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Ghana, Alhaji Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih, has paid a courtesy call on the Omanhene of Breman Asikuma, Nana Odeefo Amoakwa Buadu, at his palace at Breman Asikuma.
The Ameer was accompanied to the palace by some executive members of the mission.
Ameer Bin Salih expressed the mission’s gratitude to Nana Amoakwa Buadu and the Breman Traditional Council for their support and co-operation with the mission, which dates years back, and pledged the mission’s continuous contribution to the fulfilment of aspirations of the Breman Asikuma raditional Area.
Nana Amoakwa Buadu, who is also the President of the Breman Traditional Council, commended the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission for its hardworking efforts to see to it that peace prevailed throughout the world. He paid tribute to the late Ameer and Missionary-in-Charge of the Mission, Maulvi Dr Abdul Wahab Bin Adam, for dedicating his life to the progress of the Ahmadiyya faith in the country and described him as a man of peace.
The Omanhene praised religious organisations and ethnic groups in the country for tolerating one another and living in peace, as a result of which Ghana has become one of the peaceful places in the world to live in.
“No country on earth can thrive without peace,” he emphasised.
Nana Amoakwa Boadu prayed for God’s guidance, protection and success for Ameer Bin Salih.
