The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organisation (Majilis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya) has donated assorted food items worth GH¢1,000 to the Osu Children’s Home.
The items included bags of rice, cartons of milk and boxes of milo.
The General Manager of the Insaaniyya Company Limited at Kasoa, producers of Mercy Soap and Cream, Mr Nasir Bonsu, who made the presentation on behalf of the organisation, said the act formed part of their contribution towards the wellbeing of the less fortunate in society.

According to Mr Bonsu, the youth group had been preaching peace to encourage people to live in harmony no matter their faith or ethnicity.
He appealed to all Muslim youth groups to ensure that peace prevailed in the country.
