The renowned Edhi Foundation has left no stones unturned for elevating both our nation and country to staggering heights. Its one of those facets of our country upon which we can always gratify. It has marked an illustrious milestone for itself and its motherland. Its hard to deviate all those vigorous endeavors this outstanding organization has proffered us all these years. It has managed to earn a stature in our hearts. Fledgling from a single room to 300 centers across the country is doubtlessly an achievement. Ambulance services, free nursing homes, orphanages, shelter homes for women, clinics, rehabilitation centers, emergency services are just a teaser to the grandeur of this relentless confederation. Its a blessing to our country elevating Pakistan to new horizons everyday .One can only buck up high hopes with the confederation in future as well. Indeed it has well heeled its reputation over the years. So here’s a tremendous wave down to the living legacy Abdul Sattar Edhi who is not less than a “Messiah” to the suffering humanity.
He has taught us the real meaning of warmth and solicitude. He has set a paradigm that surely will always find a way to our hearts. His meek persona is exceptional and impressive. In short, Abdul Sattar Edhi is an icon ,a luminary our nation would never want to give up upon. Strangely despite of all his insistent efforts Abdul Sattar Edhi uptil all these years never really made it to the Nobel Peace Prize.
The prestigious award is a real honour and sure holds alot meaning to it. The Ramon Magsaysay Award,Lenin Peace Prize, Nishan-e-Imtiaz , Ahmadiyya Peace Prize are some of the note worthy embellishments under his belt, but here’s a clicking question: Why is not he awarded with the Noble Prize as yet? Whats interesting here is that the pride of our nation Malala Yousufzai nailed the award at a tender age of 18 last year, indeed she was the deserving contender for the prize still it leaves space for one to question why not Abdul Sattar Edhi uptil now. 64 years is an indefinite time to judge one’s worthiness. Yes, Abdul Sattar Edhi is a front-runner and rightful contender to it .
Recently the Noble Peace Prize Commitee in Norway has signed a petition to nominate the humanitarian for the prize this year. An astounding figure of 12,732 signed up for the petition showing their support and warm approval for the living saint. Is he not equally deserving to the prize. For around six decades the relentless foundation has been executing its part brilliantly. Spreading its roots across the borders as well. From Pakistan to Japan this foundation meant no boundaries. Its high time that it gets recognized with the dignified honour .
We all would want to see Abdul Sattar Edhi bag the award this year and sure he can with a bit more brace. Though the man himself has never expressed an open likeliness towards applaud and adornment, maybe that's what makes him The Abdul Sattar Edhi” profound founder of the worlds renowned charitable organization ‘Edhi Foundation”.
All hail to the positive note of seeing our distinguished prodigy make it big this year to the Nobel Laureate.

The service to humanity that the Edhi Foundation has offered in the ever worsening situation of Pakistan is remarkable.
ReplyDeleteWhile service is its own reward in the form of satisfaction, there is another plus in awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to Abdul Sattar Edhi. The money that goes with the award is sure to go into the Edhi Foundation and Work as a contribution from Alfred Nobel towards alleviating the suffering from humanity and who knows it might even contribute to stabilizing the law and order situation in Pakistan, especially in Karachi.
Of course, the world seems to be clamoring for the prestigious prize to go to Mr. Edhi.
