USA: Ahmadi students host blood drive at University of Arkansas to honor victims of the 9/11 attacks


A vigil is planned at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the blood drive site, with UA Chancellor Dan Ferritor, Vice Chancellor Charles Robinson and Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan speaking.

WASHINGTON COUNTY: The Al-Islam Students Association at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, plans its annual blood drive to honor the victims of the 9/11 attacks.

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will operate two blood mobiles Tuesday and Wednesday at the Fulbright Peace Fountain on campus.

The event is co-hosted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

A vigil is planned at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the blood drive site, with UA Chancellor Dan Ferritor, Vice Chancellor Charles Robinson and Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan speaking.
