Pakistan: Infamous cleric Mufti Abdul Qawi to be investigated in Qandeel murder case
The slain model and social media personality was killed by her brother Muhammad Waseem on Saturday. He confessed to the murder and stated that he had killed her for 'honour'.

MULTAN: Mufti Abdul Qawi will also be investigated in the Qandeel Baloch murder case, according to CPO Azhar Akram.
CPO Azhar Akram also disclosed that Qandeel's brother Aslam will also be included in her murder investigation. CPO Multan Azhar Akram said that police were waiting for Qandeel's forensic report. He also said that the scope of the murder case was being widened.
The slain model and social media personality was killed by her brother Muhammad Waseem on Saturday. He confessed to the murder and stated that he had killed her for 'honour'.
Mufti Abdul Qawi and Qandeel Baloch's selfies and a video had surfaced online in which the both of them could be seen together. Qandeel's brother Waseem, who had murdered her, claimed that he had done so after her selfies and video with Qandeel had surfaced.
The slain model was buried on Sunday at Dera Ghazi Khan after her funeral prayers had been offered. Mufti Abdul Qawi had reacted to Qandeel Baloch's death by stating that it should serve as a warning for those who wanted to humiliate clerics.
