The Times of Ahmad Editorial Board endorses Sabuhi Siddique for San Jose Council District 9 seat.
"Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country," Sabuhi Siddique proudly quotes John F. Kennedy on her website campaign page.
Sabuhi Siddique, a strong and independent-minded Muslim woman, is contesting San Jose City Council seat next year.
In these difficult times of a polarized nation, Siddique's real objective is to work towards uniting America again and she begins the task from her immediate neighborhood where she has served her community in many capacities for the last 23 years.
Siddique has served as a Board Member of Senior Cambrian Center in District 9 for four years and she currently serves as Commissioner in Human Relations Commission of Santa Clara County as its Chair. She also chairs the Justice Review Committee.
In January 2017, Siddique was elected as a Delegate for Assembly District 28, for California Democratic Party.
"As public service is my passion," says Siddique, "I have been listening to my neighbors and resolving their issues."
Siddique's campaign website says her "top issues are Public Safety, which includes police service and firefighters, homelessness and affordable housing."
The Siddique campaign can use all your support to bring her noble dream to reality. The campaign fundraising period ends shortly.
It is time everyone pitches in to financially strengthen her campaign. See her and donation page in the following link.
