UK: Ahmadiyya community members organize campaign to 'Keep Britain Tidy'


Volunteers including 20+ Ahmadiyya members, neighbours and councillors are expected to participate in picking litter from the resident areas.

As part of the National Campaign to "Keep Britain Tidy' members of the Ahmadiyya Community based in Fazl Mosque Southfields have organised three events in the area.

A spokesperson for the community said: "This is a way to raise awareness for the environment and to show our support and love for Britain".

Volunteers including 20+ Ahmadiyya members, neighbours and councillors are expected to participate in picking litter from the resident areas. Tea and refreshments will be provided free to all participants, the event is a volunteer based event.

The following events will be occurring:
1) 17th March 2018
Time: 10:30am-12:30pm,
Location: Balmuir Gardens SW15 6NG
For this event MP Justine Greening will also be joining in.
2) 18th March 2018
Time 11:00am-1:00pm
Location: Bus Stop Danbury Avenue, Roehampton SW15 4QD
3) 25th March 2018
Time: 11:00am-1:00pm
Location: Tibbet's Corner, Putney Heath SW15 3TT

This event is for all ages and a great way for everyone to get involved.
