India: Maulana Hakeem Mohammad Din buried at Bahisti Maqbra cemetery in Qadian


After the grave was closed, Maulana Ghori led all present in silent prayers. Thousands of Ahmadi Muslims and many non-Muslim acquaintances were present to offer their respect for the deceased.

Qadian, 16th March -- Maulana Hakeem Mohammad Din, who was passed away yesterday in Qadian have been buried at Bahishti Maqbra cemetery here in Qadian earlier today.

Maulana Mohammad Inam Ghori, Chief Secretary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at India, led the funeral prayer at Janaza Gah in Bahishti Maqbra cemetery at 8:00 a.m. today and the deceased was laid to rest in old section of Bahishti Maqbra Qadian.

After the grave was closed, Maulana Ghori led all present in silent prayers. Thousands of Ahmadi Muslims and many non-Muslim acquaintances were present to offer their respect for Maulana Hakeem Mohammad Din.

Maulana Jalal Udin Nayyar, President Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya; Maulana Muneer Ahmad Khadim, Naseer Ahmad, Maulana Fazlur Rehman Bhatti, K Tarique Ahmad, Maulana Sultan Ahmad Zafar, Zain Ud Din Hamid, Zaheer Ahmad Khadim, Syed Mubashir Ahmad Amil, Syed Tanvir Ahmad, Munir Ahmad Hafizabadi, Syed Sabah Uddin, Tayab Ali Sahib Derwaish, Shiraz Ahmad and Maulana Kareem Ud Din Shahid were present among other mourners.

Punjab's popular newspapers, Daily Ajit (Punjabi), Ajit Samachar, Dainik Savera Times, Media Punjab, Punjabi Darpan and Daily Desh Sewak covered the news of the death of Maulana Hakeem Mohammd Din.
