Qadian, India: Beloved Ahmadi elder Maulana Hakeem Mohammad Din passes away


Hakeem Mohammad Din worked in several departments of Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya, the supreme administrative body of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Qadian.

Maulana Hakeem Mohammad Din, the former president of Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya, passed away here in Qadian today after a short illness.

Maulana Din breathed his last at Noor Hospital Qadian at 12:45 p.m. local time. He was 96 years old.

Hakeem Mohammad Din, a beloved and much-respected personality of the Ahmadiyya community, had worked in several departments of Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya, the supreme administrative body of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Qadian.

He served also for a long time as principal of Jamia Ahmadiyya, the Ahmadiyya institute of higher learning and languages, in Qadian.

He was the president of Qaza Board and Waqfe-Jadid in Qadian and previously he had served as an Ahmadiyya missionary in the different states of India.

Maulana Din will be buried at Bahishti Maqbra cemetery in Qadian.

  1. He was very pious and humble and highly learned we all had his guidince when he was the missionery in charge in Bangalore Let All Bless him and give him an exalted place in Jannat ul firdose He wasalso a very close friend of the beloved father.
